Our 4 Pillars

The four Pillars of Sylvania Group

At Sylvania Group, our commitment to excellence and sustainability is built on four fundamental pillars: Products, Production Suppliers, Packaging, and Human Resources. These pillars embody our core values, company culture, and dedication to responsible and innovative practices.

Products

The first pillar, Products, emphasizes design and circularity. We are dedicated to creating products that reflect our values of sustainability and innovation. By embracing circular economy models, we focus on reusing, recycling, refurbishing, and remanufacturing, ensuring that our products can be easily disassembled for recycling. Rigorous evaluations, such as TM66 and TM65 tests, alongside Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) and Environmental Product Declarations (EPD), allow us to continually measure and improve our environmental impact.

Production Suppliers

The second pillar, Production Suppliers, centers on responsible manufacturing and strong supplier partnerships. Operating primarily in Europe, we reduce emissions associated with offshoring. Our factories and logistics platforms adhere to stringent environmental and social standards, with certifications like ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. We require our suppliers to meet high standards in sustainability, human rights, and diversity, ensuring an ethical and responsible supply chain.

Packaging

The third pillar, Packaging, is focused on reducing plastic use and adopting sustainable alternatives. Since December 2022, we have implemented concrete actions to phase out single-use plastics, minimize ink usage, and promote the use of organic and certified sustainable materials. We ensure that all new packaging comes from sustainable sources and includes recycled elements, helping to reduce our environmental footprint.

Human Resources

The fourth pillar, Human Resources, places our employees at the center of our success. We are deeply committed to promoting dignity, integrity, and respect within our organization. Our human resources policies ensure equal opportunities, diversity, and workplace safety while combating discrimination and harassment. We provide comprehensive health and safety training, ensuring a secure work environment for all, and we maintain strict compliance with regulations, including GDPR.
